Conference Overview

This national conference presents emerging trends in the use of scientific evidence in the courtroom. The goals of this conference are twofold: to improve the understanding between scientists, attorneys and judges; and to identify and develop questions for future research surrounding science and scientists in the criminal justice system.

The conference is designed for criminal justice professionals, including prosecutors, defense bar, judges, investigators, law enforcement, and forensic scientists; the academic community including psychologists, molecular biologists, and biotechnologists; and the expert witness community.

Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) accreditation has been requested from all states which require MCLE credit.  Check this website for further details.
