Call Management for Community Policing

Funded by the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS), ILJ’s Call Management for Community Policing project was recently completed and included a national survey, phone interviews and several site visits.  The final product is a guidebook to aid agencies in the implementation of call management practices to foster community policing.  It highlighted several innovative call management strategies and offers solutions to obstacles that agencies may encounter.
