The American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors is pleased to announce its annual workshop and symposium.  The planned program includes information on topical issues and training suitable for laboratory directors/administrators and policy makers.  The meeting will provide sessions on current trends and initiatives of concern to managers, recent research findings, other issues that affect crime laboratories, and the annual ASCLD business meeting, including updates on ASCLD initiatives.  The Delegate Assembly meeting for the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors (ASCLD/LAB) will also be included in the program.  Networking and enrichment activities are also planned.  This meeting provides a unique opportunity for crime laboratory directors to meet and discuss common issues and problems.  The symposium also serves as a forum for laboratory directors to provide input on various ASCLD programs and advocacy issues.

The meeting is being sponsored by West Virginia University, a member of the Forensic Resource Network (FRN), through its cooperative agreement (#
