Treatment of Meth Users
Most meth clients follow the treatment protocol for stimulant abuse:
- Short detoxification period (usually in jail or short stay in a residential program)
- Intensive out-patient group counseling and 12-step participation that gradually decreases over time
- Routine urinalyses
