ILJ takes the protection and proper use of your personal information seriously. We respect your privacy, and take great care to safeguard information in our possession.
We collect the personal information that our customers give us when they visit our site to register for a meeting or conference. For example, when you register with ILJ we will ask you to provide information such as your name, title, e-mail address, physical address, and telephone number. If you are paying for registration with a credit card, ILJ uses your credit card via secure encryption (verified by Verisign) to charge you for the registration fees. ILJ retains only the last 4 digits of the credit card number and the transaction number in the event that a refund is needed.
ILJ does not share your personal information (including e-mail addresses). We do not authorize the selling or renting of your personal information to third parties for their business purposes. We restrict access to your information to use in the conference for which you register and to future conference invitations and conference registrations.
In addition, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to protect the confidentiality and security of nonpublic personal information. Our systems use technologies such as firewalls (which are designed to protect systems from intrusion) and encryption (scrambling of information). We maintain the servers that store this information in a locked facility with restricted access.
ILJ is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of the websites from which you access our site, sites we link to, or of any sites that are linked to our site.
By using this site, you accept the practices that are described in this privacy statement, which is effective as of January 18, 2005. We may change or add to this statement from time to time. When that happens, we will post the revised statement here. Your use of our site after changes to this privacy statement have been made constitutes acceptance of those changes going forward.
Conference Cancellation Refund Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with the service you receive from ILJ. If for any reason you are unable to attend a conference for which your previously registered, simply contact us no later than 30 days prior to the conference for a full refund. In some cases, sponsoring organizations will set a shorter time period for refunds. Special fees for additional services (other than registration fees) are also refundable up to 30 days prior to the conference. Refunds will be issued in the same method as the order was paid.
Conference Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall ILJ and its affiliates and their respective directors, officers, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages due to attendance at any conference or related activity.
