- Coordinating with the client on meeting date,
time, and location.
- Coordinating with the client on meeting agenda
and invited participants.
- Negotiating meeting arrangements with hotels
and handling logistics.
- Inviting and paying travel expenses for
participants.
- Preparing and paying for printing of meeting
materials: signs, nametags, name tents, agenda, attendee lists, etc. (For
all national conferences and some other events, presentation abstracts and
speaker biographies are also prepared).
- Paying for meeting space and other related
costs.
- Handling on-site registration and logistics,
including exhibitor support.
- Attending the meeting and taking notes.
- For most events, preparing minutes, a summary
of proceedings, or other report.
