The Virginia Port Authority Police Force provides public safety and security at the five largest shipping ports in Virginia. ILJ developed new police officer allocation levels and work schedules based on workload, service demand, and security needs. ILJ also made recommendations for microcomputer applications, improved centralized communications, and improved physical security.
