The city of Arvada, Colorado, contracted with ILJ to make a management audit of the police department. The department was poised to move forward with a new police chief, and ILJ provided recommendations on organizational structure, sworn versus non-sworn position needs, roles of the chief and bureau commanders, service delivery through the patrol division, and new methods of management favorable to delivering community policing.
