Under a contract with Bureau of Justice Assistance, ILJ staff managed a national technical assistance program designed to assist state prison industries in expanding operations. Long-term technical assistance grants were awarded and monitored by ILJ. ILJ also designed and managed a pool of consultants to provide short-term technical assistance, such as regional training, on-site advisors, or travel to a host agency program site.
