For four years, ILJ conducted National Workshops on Sentencing and Corrections Challenges for teams of leading policymakers and elected officials representing all States in the U.S. These included key decisionmakers in governmental, judicial, prosecutorial, legislative, correctional, and research positions, who together established strategic approaches for specific problems in sentencing and corrections.
