Annual National Conferences on Criminal Justice Research and Evaluation

ILJ is working on its ninth annual national evaluation conference for the National Institute of Justice, in which over 800 researchers and professional leaders of the criminal justice field come together to present information from evaluations of promising programs against violent crime, illegal drug trafficking, and community disorder and fear. These conferences consistently emphasize results and partnership efforts, and they have brought forward some of the most respected and diligent researchers in the justice field to discuss topics such as tactics against gun violence, multi-agency partnerships to deal with drug crime, interventions with high risk youth, innovative prosecution strategies, narcotics enforcement efforts, school-based programs, and innovative court and correctional responses to achieve offender accountability and behavioral change.
